Six For Sunday – Favourite LGBT characters

To celebrate Pride Month I am joining in with A Little But A Lot and their weekly meme of naming six items that fit that weeks prompt.

Last week I shared 6 LGBTQ+ books, this week I’ll be featuring some of the characters from those books, along with a few others.

Character – Eroan Ilanea
An elf assassin who falls for the ultimate enemy – a dragon prince. This pair face prejudice of a different kind, given that the Elves and Dragons are enemies. That said, Prince Lysander’s sexual preferences are a not always well kept secret since dragons are expected to mate and produce young.

Title – Silk & Steel Trilogy
Author – Ariana Nash
Genre – Dark Fantasy MM Romance

Character – Trey
A messenger elf turned assassin, who at the end of the war returns to his wandering ways. Trey was a lover, not a fighter, sharing his love in brief encounters during his travels. He was the man who first opened Eroan’s eyes to his own sexuality and a key player throughout the series.

Title – Lost & Found (Silk & Steel)
Author – Ariana Nash
Genre – Fantasy MM Romance

Character – Fran
Fran doesn’t appear on the cover of the books, but she is a main character in the series. Whilst it is inferred that she and Caleb have been intimate, Fran shares her bed based on attraction, not gender.

Title – The 1000 Revolutions
Author – Pippa DaCosta
Genre – Space Opera/ Science Fiction Romance

Character – Cole McClish
A man truly learning to let go and love, held back by societies prejudices and judgements. Cole and Owen will steal, break and then remake your heart in this full-of-feels contemporary romance.

Title – Fresh Catch
Author – Kate Canterbary
Genre – MM Contemporary Romance

Character – Jamie Teller
Coming out of the closet is tough enough. Discovering you are in the closet and then leaving it, on top of being a well known sports star, is even harder. Jamie’s sexuality leads to him becoming the victim of a hate crime, though a victim he most certainly isn’t.

Title – Temptation’s Inferno
Author – Kat Mizera
Genre – MM Contemporary Sports Romance
