Reading Challenges #TBRChallenge #RomanceReadingChallenge #Goodreads

I’m joining in with the same three reading challenges I did last year. My blogging went very awol for the last quarter of 2022, I’m hoping that by setting aside certain days to blog hop and catching up on comments only on the weekend I might hold things together a little better.

I’ve reduced my Goodreads challenge to 100 books. I hit my 2022 target of 140 books by finishing book #140 in the last few hours of New Year’s Eve. If things go well I will adjust that target upwards, but gone are the days when I read 5 or 6 books a week.

The other two challenges are the Romance Reading Challenge, co-hosted by Jen @That’s What I’m Talking About, and the TBR Challenge, hosted by Wendy @The Misadventures of a Super Librarian. I’m going to make even more of an effort to read books on my “already own” TBR in 2023, as well as make good use of the Borrowbox app that I can use to borrow e-books from my local library.

What challenges, if any, are you planning to take part in?

  1. I’ve never done a reading challenge other than the Goodreads or Storygraph number of books in the year. But I look at those as more of a personal goal. I always think I want to do those challenges but the more I look at them the more I realize I’d be setting myself up for failure, lol. Good luck!

    1. I keep my Goodreads quite low. The other two are quite open to interpretation and there isn’t pressure to do every single prompt either, so it just inspires me to read books that I’ve owned for a while. I’m not always too successful though 🤣
