IM! WAYR?
Is it really Monday again? Whilst it feels like we’ve been in lockdown forever, at the same time the days are simply flying by and I’m wondering how we can be in May already and where the heck April went!
I’m joining in again with Book Date‘s weekly meme, It’s Monday! What are you reading? Which actually is more of a “What I’ve just read”, followed by “What I’m currently reading” and garnished with “What I’m reading next”.
What I Read Last Week

Choosing my favourite of these produces a tight battle between Daddy P.I. and Ballistic, with the former just winning by a hair’s breadth because it left me with such a feeling of warmth and happiness.
My current read(s)

Technically I’m not focusing specifically on these books, they’re all books I’ve been given the opportunity to read recently, and then been inundated with arc reads that have to take priority. So the aim is to squash them in between other books that I need to read.
Books that are on this weeks reading schedule

I’ll be sharing reviews for many of these books over the next few days, so do check back in!

Ugh time is weird right now – I feel sort of like we are in suspended time right now, like it’s moving but not.

Yes! That’s exactly how it feels. I’ve really enjoyed the rest of that series so I’m definitely looking forward to reading that one.

I’m glad it’s finally May. I have hopes that warmer weather soon appears. I am switching to review books soon after enjoying some rereading. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

I think those rereads are helping because comfort and familiarity is in such short supply at the moment. Fingers crossed for some warmer weather!

I know! It’s the shortest of times and the longest of times! Good that you are enjoying your books. Love the cover of Ballistic.

For a YA dystopian read it’s quite a strong cover
