Sin & Surrender
(Demigod of San Francisco #6)
by K.F. Breene

KF Breene pulled out all the stops with this one! Harding? Didn’t see that one coming, and it should have been obvious, but the author so cleverly misdirected and blurred the edges that it was like a smack in the face.

The intrigue, the battles, the sneaky underhand maneuvering had me power reading through at an incredible rate of knotts. I really couldn’t put this down and *may* have read far too late into the night just to finish it. I may well be yawning and hoping I can cope with work on a few hours sleep at the moment (oops).

I loved how my wish was granted, though being a very typical *insert cackling laugh* author Breene gave with one hand and took away with the other. I’m fairly certain she made this face whilst creating the scene that stomped on my heart.

I’m rambling because my brain is still scrambled from the sheer genius that is this book. Which I must tell you now can NOT be read stand alone. It’s part of a six book series and whilst you could at a push start with book 4, to get the full benefit of this book, this story, you do really need to start at the beginning. Without a shadow of a doubt, and you really need to keep an eye on those pesky shadows, this is a book and series that I hugely recommend.

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Genre – Urban Fantasy

It’s the moment Kieran and Lexi have been preparing for. The Magical Summit.
Ready or not, they will take their assembled team into the belly of the beast. The stakes couldn’t be higher. If the powers that be don’t approve of Kieran, he will not earn the official title of the Demigod of San Francisco.
The real danger concerns Lexi, however. With Kieran away in meetings, she must brave the treacherous halls of the Summit with just her crew and her wards, fighting for social placement and status, open to attack from all angles.
She could’ve never expected what comes at her. No one could’ve.
Prepare yourself for this epic conclusion to the Demigods of San Francisco series!
